It is the bgl-file which creates the airport. I found out that the file with the name "lpma.bgl" causes the problem. So I moved all files ot of the Wonderful Madeira folders as long as the crash was gone. I tried to find out what causes the problem. During final approach on RWY 05 the computer crashed and an error message, telling me that FS2004 has to be closed due to problems, appeared. Yesterday I wanted to fly to Madeira on my new computer for the first time. Six month ago I bought a new flightsim computer, which runs on Windows Vista. Aerial photographs and a realistic elevation model.I use the Wonderful Madeira scenery for approximately three years and I never had any problems with it. Wonderful Madeira is a new scenery for the FS2004 covering the beautiful archipelago of Madeira. Here is a list of tasks done by the PTSIM installer. I tested the install of 'Wonderful Madeira' both in FS2004 and FS2002 and everything was fine! You must remember that the install is very complicated as there are files that go some folders and others that go to other folders. BGL (WONDERFUL MADEIRA) LPMA.BGL (WONDERFUL MADEIRA) Thanks. Here is a list of all bgls under LPMA in my system AESA LPMA PTS.BGL (AES AIRPORT) AESA LPMA PTS.CFG (OUTLOOK CONFIGURATION) AESA LPMA PTS.BGL (AES SCENERY) AF2 LPMA.BGL (WONDERFUL MADEIRA) LPMA AES (WONDERFUL MADEIRA) LPMAX. I used to have Canary Sims scenery but has since been gone and I replaced all the BGL with FS originals before installing wonderful madeira. Funny thing is that the correct textures of the airport can be seen from a distance. This grass texture has enough elevaion that when I am taxing to the runway the airplane with bump coming down from it. I did as instructed, unfurtanately no avail the terrain continues to be higher in the apron area than the buildings and textures within the area. Sorry for the avatar.my bad.i selected the wrong one. Thanks for the quick reply oliver.
